I have decided that holidays are the hardest times for me to be far away from family. I LOVE big family get togethers with all the cousins and the kids and the water fights and the delicious food. Our town really clears out in the summer because everyone goes off to visit family and such. Anyway, we just did our own little thing this year. We were planning on going to see the Firework Show at Washington on the Brazos State Park (where Texas' Independence was signed). In the morning we went to the ward Flag Ceremony and Breakfast. I had both the boys dressed really cute, but I forgot my camera, opps. About halfway thru the breakfast Corbin announced he was feeling sick. I rushed him to the bathroom. He had been sick earlier in the week but had seemed fine the last day or so. It is hard to know how
'sick' he is really feeling. I was mistaken to think I could make it all the way to the bathroom before he threw up all over himself, all over me, the floor and the toliet once we finally got there. So it made for a great start that day and we decided to scratch the firework show to be safe. We took the boys to a Splash Pad instead. Corbin had a blast. We are going to have his birthday party here most likly. Carter was not so sure. Anyway, here are some of the pictures I took later in the day after I got Corbin all cleaned up again.
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!

Sitting in the Bird's Nest

Corbin loves showing off how long his tongue is.

I have never seen boys who love dirt more than these two

He's not screaming, this is his Happy face

He is walking better everyday,
he won't stand still long enough to snap a picture.
I will have to make a video so you can see him walking
And he's off!Carter loves riding the rocket around the house
Almost as good as playing in the rain

Carter mostly liked the water

Cute! That water park splash pad looks like fun...you're right it does look much better than the one at the Gateway.
I miss living close to those parks. We do have one here but the neighborhood is creepy. We have another one in Belton but it's so far away from here. Enjoy your summer! Send our love to your kidos.

Hi Tiffany! I just found your family's blog. I'm sorry that Corbin got sick at the pancake breakfast. I don't know how I missed that since we were sitting at the same table! I guess we left before all that happened. I'm glad that y'all were able to have fun at the splash pad, though.
