Dew Berry Farm

First of November we made a trip to Dew Berry farm with some friends. They have a barn with lots of animals you can pet. We even got to see how to milk a cow
Carter had a huge smile when he got to touch the horses nose
The baby chicks were so cute and fluffyThis is my friend Tracy and her girls Adrienne and Honor
We are going to miss them when they move next month
The goats were outside. You put goat food in a little cup and turn a wheel which carries the food to the top of a ramp and dumps it in a bowl. All the goats try to rush up the ramps to get the food. It was pretty funny
He's a big pig, you can be a big pig tooAttacking geese: These geese were so mean. While we were there they attached a little girl who looked Carter age. . Her mom was far enough away she couldn't stop them fast enough before they were pecking her all over. I ran over to help and nearly got bit myself. So don't get to close to the geese and watch out on to your kiddos. They had a fairly large garden with lots of flowers. The kids were not really into getting their pictures taken
The sunflowers were big and beautiful
This animated Chicken Show was pretty cute. The babies were dancing along to Old MacDonaldWhile waiting in line for the Go Carts (which was a failure, kids couldn't reach the pedals)
we found this long black tube. The kids sat inside while we rolled it around. They loved it!The giant Bouncy PillowCuddling under the haystack
All the school groups had left the farm, but they were nice enough to give us one last ride on the train. Corbin couldn't miss out on that.
We went on the giant slide over and over. It was bumpy but really fun. I didn't notice that my cell phone had slipped out of my pocket while going down the slide until we were all packed in the car and driving away. I had no idea where I lost it. Tracy stayed with my car while I ran back to look. I said a prayer while I was running. The farm was huge and we had been everywhere. I went to check the picnic tables first. I could hear a faint sound and followed it here under the slide where it was hiding. I would never have looked there. Having Tracy with me to call it was a big help, but even with that It was a miracle I found it and so quickly.
