Aunt Amelia Visits

My oldest sister Amelia came to visit the first week of Feb. She wasn't able to come when the rest of my family came. The boys were especially thrilled to have company.

have I mentioned that Carter really likes Boxes?

We had to take the traditional trip to Chuck E Cheese.

Riding the Carousal

The boys love anything they can pretend to drive

Take Out Chinese Food
Corbin experiments with Chopsticks.

Carter just scarfs everything down

Trip to Texas' Capital

We stayed in Austin to be closer to the airport. We went to see the State Capital Building. It is the largest capital building in the nation. It is allowed to be taller than all the others since Texas was its own nation before joining the US, or something. I am not a history buff. Anyway, Texans just feel that gives us right to be better than everyone else or something.

This is taken with the camera on the floor looking up at the ceiling of the capital building.

The highlight of our trip was getting to visit with our friends the Beams whose baby is in the hospital. We hope they get to come home soon.

Corbin talked non-stop about Connor the next few days. He was very disappointed we did not go back and see him again.

The Beams showed us all around. They are staying at the Ronald McDonald House

Our kids had fun in the children's play centers.
Connor pushed Corbin around on the stretcher.

Carter got his first MRI. He did very well

It was late when we got back to the hotel, but Amelia and Corbin still wanted to go for a swim.

Carter was exhausted. He never stirred even with Corbin running around, and the TV and lights on.

We were all up early the next morning to tell Amelia goodbye. Thanks for coming to visit. It means alot to us all.

While we were packing up to go Carter opened the dresser, put in his blanket and teddy, and snuggled up to get some extra ZZZZZZZ's
