The Cast is Off

Two weeks Too Long. I have never had a cast in my life and neither has Andrew. I hope we don't have to do that again. It was a pain to keep clean and dry when you have a one year old whose life resolves around Dirt and water and just being messy in general. The cast did not slow him down in the least. The doctor said he was the best patient they have ever had because he didn't cry the whole time they were cutting off the cast or taking X-Rays.
Corbin was very supportive.
Carter favored his arm for a day or two but now seems to be using it like normal. Some old Pictures, and some new ones
Trying to have fun in this terribly hot Texas Summer. I actually forgot about the cast issue when I filled up the pool. After he saw it there was no way I could tell him No. I wrapped it up really good and managed to keep it mostly dry.
He loves playing peek-a-boo
So, his hair is getting really long, and I am afraid to cut it again. It is so blonde that when it is short he looks bald. Here he is showing off his Mowhawk.
The grocery store had a great sale on roses. I told Andrew how pretty they were. He and Carter went and picked out this beautiful bouquet. Carter takes the credit for giving them to me. He wants me to smell them all the time and he gets so excited when I do.
He likes smelling them too.

Carter loves making faces. He is really good at doing impressions of the Alex making the happy and sad faces in Madegascar II. These are a few silly faces
