All Aboard The Party Express!

Corbin wanted a Thomas the Train Birthday Party this year. I found lots of fun ideas online. Andrew and I had fun making all the decorations and the trains. Andrew made Train crossing arms for the kids to walk past as they walked inside. He made Train Tracks inside that went to each of the stations around the house like Brendam Docks, Tidmouth Shed, Corbin's Quarry, Freight Drop-Off (for the presents), ect. We knew there was going to be a good turnout so I tried to divide the kids into three groups. They rotated through different activities and they each had a ticket to get stamped after they did the activity. It got kindof noisy and a little crazy but I think all the kids had fun. I hope Corbin enjoyed it. Here are some (several) pictures from the party.

At Tidmouth Sheds they played Pass the Whistle, "Train, Train, Engine," Who took the Keys? and we chugged around the tracks until the Music stopped. You can see the train tracks that Andrew made in this picture. I thought they turned out nice.
At Brendam Docks we made Thomas the Train masks and Colored other train Pictures
In Corbin's Quarry we played Pin the Bee on James' Nose, Train Toss and went Fishing for Trains

Corbin saw this cake at a friend's party, and has talked about it ever since. He loved it. I switched the original Thomas that comes with it for his cherished Molly "the Yellow Train" He was even more excited about that.

Messy Faces
The kids had fun walking around in the trains although it was a little tricky with two people.
Opening Presents
I let all the kids take turns giving Corbin their present. It was so funny. They were so excited about their gift that they practically opened it for him and would exclaim in delight what they had given him, "Look! It's a Tent!" or "Lightening McQueen Glasses! You are going to love these!" It was very cute.
Corbin was being a stinker when it came to getting his picture taken. I don't have many good ones of him. We had to realy bribe him to let us take a picture of him in the train. He wore his costume for the party. I thought it was cute.

Honor and Carter were playing Peek-a-Boo with their engineer hats
Honor is just so cute. She loved posing for the camera. I am glad she and Adriene made the drive up for the party. It makes me remember why I love them so much
They just can't get enough of each other.
After the party, Corbin had fun looking at and playing with all his gifts
These Trains were such a hit. The boys have not stopped playing in them
This was the night before the party, before the trains had lost all of their wheels

Oh my gosh! Corbin's party turned out so cute! All your games and decorations were awesome! We were really sorry to miss it but it looks like you had a full house. By the time I got a chance to call, it was after 1 and I knew the party would be in full swing. But I'm so glad Corbin had fun. Hopefully you guys can come down soon!
