I've lived here for going on Five years and this is only the second time I have taken the kids to the beach. Andrew has not been with us either time. We ended up going in the evening which was wonderful. It was out of the heat of the day. (still hot-Texas never cools off-it just goes from unbearable to unpleasant) It was perfect for the beach. We ate dinner in the car and played until the sun went down. We all had a great time running in the waves, collecting shells and playing in the sand.
We call Carter and Honor "the twins" since they practically have the same Birthday (missed it by a quarter of an hour) and they grew up as babies together. They really were adorable walking around holding hands.
