Have you ever been to Hearne? It is the kind of town I thought all of Texas would be like, but luckily it is not. Out in the middle of nowhere, doesn't even have a paved road. Just a bunch of dogs and mail boxes along the side of the bumpy dirt road. My friend Teasha invited us along for a little day trip. She had stayed in a friends trailer up there and left some stuff she needed to get. She was also returning 200 tadpoles to their orginal home. She decided that it was too big of a job to raise all of them. We each kept about 15 or so. I will keep you posted on their growth. Anyway, the kids all had a really great time and I took way to many pictures, so just enjoy, or endure.

The puddle, I mean 'pond' left something to be desired for our little tadpoles. I hope it will not dry up, before they mature a bit.
A friendly neighbor dog stopped by to keep us company. The kids Loved him. If you are not an animal person you may need to skip the next set of pictures, j/k.
He took up post at the top of the slide to make sure the kid's faces were clean before they went down the slide.
